by Bertel Gripenberg (1878 - 1947)

Som mandelblom
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Som mandelblom eller elfenben
och nardus är din hy.
Ditt hjärtas vår är varm och ren
och stark och het och ny.
Kom, följ mig leende och stum,
prinsessa, låt oss fly,
när sommarns natt är klar och ljum
med månlyst silfversky.

Vi gå som barn i diktens park
med drömmens silfversko.
Omkring oss doftar natten stark
i mäktig midnattsro.
Räck mig din varma, hvita hand,
när tysta stjärnor le,
och följ mig bort till sagans land,
där underverken ske.
