Veilchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Veilchen, Veilchen, blaue Zeilchen
aus des Frühlings Märchenbrief,
den er seiner Welt, der lieben,
heimlich über Nacht geschrieben,
ihr rührt mein Gemüt so tief . . . !
Ihr seid gar nicht groß geraten
wie der stolze Mohn im Korn,
ihr träumt nicht von Heldentaten
wie der wilde Rittersporn.

Ihr duckt euch geheim verstohlen,
zaghaft in das dunkle Moos,
doch ein Duft hebt euch Violen,
über jedes Blumenlos!

Euer Duft zieht Menschenherzen
ganz in euren süssen Bann,
mit euch zünden sie die Kerzen
ihrer ersten Liebe an.

Veilchen, Veilchen, blaue Zeilchen
aus des Frühlings Märchenbrief,
den er seiner Welt, der lieben,
heimlich über Nacht geschrieben,
ihr rührt mein Gemüt so tief . . . !
