by Ludwig Koch (1806 - 1888)

Dein Blick
Language: German (Deutsch)
Dein Aug' ist wie die Quelle klar,
bis auf den tiefsten Grund so rein;
drin ruht der Himmel wunderbar
mit seiner ganzen Engelschar,
mit aller seiner Sterne Schein.

D'rum, fällt ein einz'ger Sonnenblick
aus deinem Aug' auf mich, o Lust,
dann fühlt mein Herz der Sel'gen Glück;
o wend' es nie von mir zurück,
sonst wird es Nacht in meiner Brust.
