't Gordijntje wordt daarboven Van 't venster weggeschoven, En door de heldre ruit Blinkt Miekes hoofdje uit. Ze heeft me in 't oog gekregen, En lacht en knikt me tegen... Zo slaat dan op den duur Toch eens het liefdesuur! Maar neen! Mij geldt haar blikje, Haar lachje noch haar knikje! Ginds kuiert hare nicht... Ach! doe 't gordijntje dicht!
