Vertauschte Liebhaber

Bergwasser rauscht voll Wildgetos' --
Ein Holzknecht steht darin,
Wo's stockt, macht er die Scheiter los,
Die tanzen wirr dahin.

Wohl aus den Bergen hoch und frei
Der Regen schwoll die Fluth,
Vorbei geht aus der Jägerei
Ein Bursch mit grünem Hut.

Der sieht hinab voll Pfiffigkeit:
"Die Sennerin ist mein;
Du laß dein Edelweiß bei Seit'
Und bild' dir ja nix ein!"

Der Holzknecht denkt im Donner tief:
"Die Förstersmagd ist mein;
Setz' deinen Hut nit gar so schief
Und bild' dir ja nir ein!"
