Maienmorgen
Language: German (Deutsch) 
Als ich am frühen Morgen erwacht,
da habe ich grüßend der Mutter gedacht,
der holden, himmlischen Fraue.
Zum nahen Kirchlein ging ich hin
mit leichtem Schritt und frohem Sinn;
es standen die Blümlein im Taue.

Das gab ein Glitzern im Sonnenschein,
als hing' alles voller Perlen und Edelgestein,
d'rob wölbt' sich der Himmel, der blaue.
Da tritt aus des Himmels goldenem Tor
die Maienkönigin strahlend hervor
und wandelt auf blumiger Aue.
