Den Himmel so nah' und die Herzen so weit, und drunten die Sorge, und drunten das Leid. Gott grüß' euch, ihr Täler, du tiefblauer Duft, ihr Berge und Felsen in rosiger Luft. Und wenn ihr, ihr Wolken, zum Tale euch senkt, grüßt jegliches Herz mir, was meiner gedenkt. Aufjauchzet die Seele, vom Schauer entzückt! Wie sind doch die Fluren so wonnig geschmückt mit saftigem Grün und mit silbernem Band! Das hat euch hier oben die Quelle gesandt. Ihr Geister der Quellen und Wellen all, tragt Friede und Freude hinab in das Tal!
