by Joannes Reddingius (1873 - 1944)

Weer zendt de zomerzon
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)
Weer zendt de zomerzon
goud door het bosch,
dichter die zingen kon,
zing, zing u los.

Goudschijn is overal,
waar ge maar ziet,
hoog bij den looverval
laag bij den vliet.

Kijk naar de stammen slank,
tuur naar beneên,
zeg met uw klanken dank
wat u verscheen.

Goud is de looverpraal,
wiegend in wind,
hoort ge die toovertaal,
blijde als een kind?

Daar waar het kristallijn
flikkert van glans,
ijlen weer klanken fijn,
jubelt een dans.

Leven dat leeft in 't woud
àl-overal —
liedwijs en zonnegoud
vangen ik zal.
