by Hans Reynolds (1876 - 1933)

Paa Golfen
Language: Norwegian (Bokmål)
Tyst glider Baaden i maanelys Nat,
kun Skvulpen af blege Vover,
- saa stille ved Strand og i Palmekrat,
mens Stjernerne blinker over . . . .

En sagte Hvisken den tause Nat,
baaren paa Vindens Vinger,
og Aaren dyppes i Bølgen blødt,
mens Citheren sagte klinger . . . .

Hun læner sig tryg til sin Elskedes Bryst,
mens Læber og Øine brænder,
hun klynger sig fast om hans brune Hals
og folder de hvide Hænder.

Men Stjernerne staar over Sjø og Lund,
og Maanen i Golfen skinner;
de sidder der ene - Mund mod Mund,
til Dagen rødmende rinder.
