by Theodor Caspari (1853 - 1948)

Gloria in excelsis
Language: Norwegian (Bokmål)
Snedrev over bræens vidder, –
snespurv, snespurv, lys og glad,
ørfin sommerfuglekvidder, –
vet ikke hvorhen, hvorfra, –
leker, løfter sig og letter,
flagrer bort og stilner av, –
klarinetter, klarinetter
i det store Gloria. –

Og bækken han lytter og fanger det ind,
og vindene slynger det høit op i veiret,
og fjeldene toner, og bræhallens svære
skinnende orgel bruser mot tind:
«Lover den Herre med ære!» –

Confirmed with Ronny Spaans, Dikter: Gloria in excelsis, Dag og tid Fredag, 8. APRIL, 2016.
