by Ion N. Theodorescu (1880 - 1967), as Tudor Arghezi

Cenuşa visărilor
Language: Romanian (Română)
Cenuşa visărilor noastre
Se cerne grămezi peste noi,
Precum se coboară pe glastre,
Atinse, petalele-albastre,
De-o gâză căzută de sus printre foi.

Se scutură vântul şi geme.
Pământul e una cu cerul,
Oraşele-s bulgări şi gheme,
Ghitare adânci de blesteme,
Şi aerul - rece ca fierul.

Pământul e-o moară deşartă
Cu larve cerşind adăpost,
Mişcându-se-npulberea moartă,
Ce-n haos mereu se deşartă:

Ţărâna visării ce-a fost.
