Schön ist die Welt, drum Brüder
Laßt uns reisen
Wohl in die weite Welt
Wohin es uns gefällt.
Wir sind nicht stolz,
Wir brauchen keine Pferde.
Wir steig'n hinauf auf Berge
Und auf Hügel wo uns die Sonne sticht.
Wir trocknen uns wohl unter grünen Bäumen
Den Schweiß vom Angesicht,
Wir laben uns an jeder Wasserquelle,
Wo frisches Wasser fließt.
Wir reisen fort von einer Stadt zur andern,
Wo uns die Luft gefällt.
Schön ist die Welt.
