Unser Haus liegt auf weißer Heide, Ganz im Schnee – ganz im Schnee. Hinter uns steht erstarrt ein Wald; Fern und schwarz geballt, Doch im stillen Winterkleide. Es sprühn die andern Welten ganz fern In klaren Höh‘n, ganz, ganz fern In kalter, klarer Höh'! Wie ist Ewigkeit schön jetzt gewandet! Wie warm sind wir gelandet!
