Un vide étrange et mortel est dans mon âme, Nostalgie immense, soif d’être aimé, Inexplicable mélancolie, elle envahit mon être, Dans la douleur. L’Air, la lumière, tout, même la vie semble me fuir ! Et d’heure en heure, je pleure le bonheur céleste qu’en rêve J’ai connu. Divin fantôme, mon sortilège, Femme ou déesse qui devant moi comme un nuage Flotte toujours, trompeuse image, viens dans mes bras, Et de ma peine fais du bonheur !
