by Gustaf Ullman (1881 - 1945)

Ödevik
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Här är den ljusa viken,
där böljebruset rullar in
från hafvets dunkla riken;
den viken, den var min.

Min barndoms blå vasaller
med sorl och sång mig ta emot
för hvarje våg, som faller
i sanden för min fot.

Här fläkten lungan fyller
med sjöluft, kyligt frisk och salt,
och viddens sol förgyller
med sällsamt varma dagrar allt.

Och här, där minnen leka
i stänk och brus en vårlig kväll,
jag sakta ville smeka
den öde strandens nakna häll.
