by Julius Wolff (1834 - 1910)

Der Kranz
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die Blumen in deinem Kranze,
Roth, gelb, blau, blümerant,
Die haben mit ihrem Glanze
Mir in die Augen gebrannt.

So schönen wie du trug Keine,
Und Keiner stand ihrer so gut,
Wie mit einem Heiligenscheine
Gingst du in des Kranzes Hut.

Sternblüthen Primeln und Glocken
Und blaue Vergißmeinnicht
Umrahmten dir in den Locken
Dein eigenes Blumengesicht.

Und röthliche Blätter und Ranken
Schmiegten sich her und hin,
Mir kamen nur gute Gedanken
In meinen begehrlichen Sinn.

Der Blumen Weben und Schweben
Hat mir das Herz berückt,
Ich hätt' um Leib und Leben
Den Kranz dir nicht zerpflückt.
