Im stillen Thale rauschet murmelnd
Language: German (Deutsch)
Im stillen Thale rauschet murmelnd
Und silberhell ein kleiner Bach
Durch bunte Blumenpfade. Cidli,
Du kennst den Bach.

Da wo sich um die schlanken Erlen
Ein Kranz von frischem Epheu flicht,
Fand ich jüngst an des Bachs Gestade
Vergißmeinnicht.

Das Blümchen lachte mir entgegen,
Wie meiner Cidli Augen, blau.
Auf seinen weichen Blattern glänzte
Noch frischer Thau.

Ich pflükt' es Cidli, ach! und dachte
An Dich und rief: Vergiß mein nicht!
Und Echo seufzte sanft wie Zephpr:
Vergiß mein nicht!
