Yo esperaba un amor
Language: Spanish (Español)
Our translations:  ENG

I waited for a love
Language: English  after the Spanish (Español)
I waited for a love in my agony
which would uproot me from the uncertain path,
and upon looking me in the eyes the day arose
above my soul which was already stiff.

I no longer fear life nor death;
a divine ideal, a like yearning
confuses us in a tie eternal and strong.
Thus is the earth more radiant than the heavens.
