by Juan Ruiz de Alarcón y Mendoza (1581? - 1639)

Lo que con la boca niego
Language: Spanish (Español)
ANA:
    Lo que con la boca niego,
 confieso con las acciones,
 que de amorosas pasiones
 son verdaderos despojos;
 que palabras de los ojos
 las forman los corazones.
    Desde el punto que me vi,
 don Diego, en vuestra presencia,
 no sé qué correspondencia
 dentro del alma sentí.
 No sé cómo me perdí;
 que con tal resolución
 me acometió la pasión,
 que lo que os he resistido,
 un raro milagro ha sido
 de mi honesta obligación.
