Comme un éclair la flateuse espérance
brille à mes yeux et semble voltiger
en moi renaît le calme et l’assurance
Je ne vois plus qu'à l’ombre du danger
calme trompeur hélas vaine assurance
comme un éclair léger bientôt s’envole
et s’éteint l’espérance 
et je revois l’image du danger.

Comme un éclair la flateuse espérance
brille à mes yeux et semble voltiger
pour la saisir mon coeur s’élance
elle s’enfuit comme un songe léger.
