by Heinrich Stieglitz (1801 - 1849)

Das Fischermädchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Plätschert nur, ihr goldnen Fischchen,
Lustig in den grünen Seen;
Goldnes Band am grünen Tulbend,
O wie muß das herrlich stehn!

Meinen Hatem will der Sultan
Schmücken mit dem goldnen Band,
Weil er ihm für seine Fürstinn
Soviel schöne Kränze wand.

Darum plätschert nur, ihr Fischchen,
Lustig fort in See und Teich,
Seh' ich golden euch im Grünen,
Denk' ich meinen Hatem gleich.
