by Gustaf Ullman (1881 - 1945)

Den gyllne stunden
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
I kvällens guldvåg dränkta
stränderna som skimrande minnen stå.
Högsommartunga,
tyst som i dröm försänkta,
träden i lä av stugornas längor grå.
Långt ute börjar en ensam flicka sjunga,
men tystnar för djupets betagande aftonsång.
Kvällningens drömmartvång tacksamt,
som trötta barn, vi taga.
Guldstrålar falla
in i de doldaste, mörkaste djup av alla,
i tigande hjärtans vrår.
Ljust som en gyllne saga
livet en stund i renaste skönhet står.
