Pingst
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Kring alla skärhemmans röda hus
känns som en smekning solens ljus
och pingstens helige ande.
Låter Du, Herre, i allo lande
krafter och doft, som här,
strömma ur jorden och blomstren de bär,
rakt in i människors hjärtan?

För våra öar och flagar
är pingsthelgens klara dagar
uppståndelsens nattvardsgång.
Hagarnas fågelsång,
dyningen kring våra stränder
äro väl strängar i dina händer?

Högt över skärgårdens röda byar
sväva likt löften pingstens skyar.
Herre, skänk din heliga ande
åt fattiga byar i allo lande.
