Schlummerlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Horch mein Kind, süß und lind
Säuselt der Abendwind.
Durch die Lande zieht
Lispelnd sein sanftes Lied.
Innig bewegt es die blaue See,
Treibet die Wölkchen in luftiger Höh.
Pochet an unser Fensterlein,
Schlafe mein Herzchen ein, schlaf ein.

Gute Nacht, Mutter wacht,
Hat auf ihr Kindlein acht.
Und vom Himmel her
Flieget der Englein Heer.
Das schickt der Heiland so liebevoll,
Daß meinem Kindlein nichts fehlen soll.
Ja er will selber bei ihm sein.
Schlummre mein Herzchen fein, schlummre fein.

Schlummre süß und genieß
Träumend ein Paradies.
Laß dir Rosen blühn,
Blinkende Sternlein glühn,
Hab mit Gespielen herzinnige Lust,
Schmieg dich an Vaters und Mutters Brust.
Bis zu des Morgens goldnem Schein
Schlummre mein Herzchen fein, schlummre fein.
