Wie lieb ich dich
Language: German (Deutsch)
Seh' ich die Vögelein
flattern im grünen Hain
lustig daher, dahin,
so mit vergnügtem Sinn,
kommt's mir ins Herz hinein,
möchte solch' Vöglein sein,
Vöglein im Hain!

Seh'ich die Blümlein lind
kosend im Abendwind,
wiegen sich hin und her,
[wird mir]1 das Herz so schwer;
möcht' unter Küssen fein
wohl ein solch' Blümlein sein,
Blümlein so lind!

Schläng' er den Arm um mich,
spräch' er: „Ich liebe dich!“
küssend mir Stirn und Mund -
o süße, trunk'ne Stund'!
O, somit dir allein,
wie würd' ich selig sein!
Wie lieb' ich dich!
