Jeg raaber fast, o Herre
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Jeg raaber fast, o Herre,
af Dybsens Nød til dig,
du vil mig naadig være
og gerne frelse mig;
dit Øre du nedbøje,
naar jeg min Bøn frembær,
og mærk udaf det høje,
hvad min Begæring er!

Ak, hvis du Agt vil give
paa Synden, vi begaa,
mens vi er her i Live,
hvo kan for dig bestaa!
Men hver, som det begærer,
ham har du Gunst betet,
thi elsker man og ærer
din milde Majestæt.

Tænk paamig i det Rige
for Korsets haarde Død!
Dit ord, som ej kan svige
det er min Trøst i Nød!
Af længsel Hjærtet trænges
til dig med stor Attraa,
fast mer end Vægtren længes,
at Dagen komme maa.

Guds Folk sig trygt forlade
paa hans Barmhjertighed
og på hans store Naade,
som han saa mangeled
hen over dem udøser
den fromme Herre Gud,
idet han dennem løser
af Synd og Sorrig ud!
