Der Einsame

Wenn den Einsamen die große Furcht anfällt,
wenn er läuft und läuft
und weiß selber nicht wohin?
Wenn Stürme hinter ihm brüllen,
wenn der Blitz gegen ihn zuckt,
wenn seine Höhle mit Gespenstern ihn fürchten macht.
Nun, da der Tag des Tages müde ward,
und aller Sehnsucht Bäche
von neuem Trost dir plätschern,
auch alle Himmel aufgehängt in Gold Spinnetzen,
zu jedem Mühen sprechen:
"Was ruhst du nicht, du dunkles Herz,
was stachelt dich zu Fußes wunder Flucht,
wes harrest du?"
