Eine rote Riesenkirsche Stieg die Sonne aus dem Meer. Dämmer deckte noch de Lande. Stand auf meinem stillen Strande, Letzte Nebel um mich her. Eine trübe Kupferscheibe Wanderte das Licht hinan. Heimlich ward die Flut beschienen, Und die Gräser an de Dünen Fingen sanft zu glühen an. Flog der erste Strahl hernieder, Heller ward der Wellentanz. Und noch keine kurze Stunde, Und die ganze Morgenrunde Lag in Glück und Sommerglanz.
