Märchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Die Mittagssonne brütet heiß,
im Traume liegt der Wald,
ein Glockenton erzittert leis',
der mählig dann verhallt.

Und wunderklare blaue Luft
rings über Feld und Heide,
und würzig schwerer Sommerduft
vom reifenden Getreide;

und Bienen, Käfer, glänzend bunt,
das surrt und summt ganz leise,
im Schatten schläft der Schäferhund,
im Riedgras zirpt die Meise.

Am Waldbach träumt das Hüterkind
von Liebeslust und Qual,
und märchenheimlich raunt der Wind:
„Es war, es war einmal!”
