Waldeseinsamkeit
Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn die Brust von Weh beklommen,
Nirgend Rast und Ruhe find't,
Aus dem Auge still entglommen
Heiß die Schmerzensthräne rinnt;

Dann mit deinem Schmerz alleine
Flieh' in Waldeseinsamkeit;
Unter Baum' und Blumen weine
Aus der Seele tiefes Leid.

Ihrer Blätter heimlich Grüßen
Flüstert Muth und Trost dir zu,
Und vom Blumenduft, dem süßen,
Wirst du eingewiegt in Ruh.

Unter hehrem Waldesrauschen
Fühlst du Gottes Geist dir nah,
Und in tiefer Andacht lauschen
Muß du seinem Wehen da.
