Ha a szívben lelkesedés nincsen:
Mit barátság, szabadság, szeretet,
Lelkesedés ha rajtuk nem lebeg.

Lelkesedés élet fénye,
Érzetinken átszövődik.
És a végzet durva kénye
Hozzá szolgakép szegődik.

Óvjuk meg a lelkesedést,
Hitet, reményt csak az ád;
Érzeni hív, rátanít, így 
jobb' szeretjük a hazát.
