E un fuoco nel mio sangue ardea più vivo.
Quanto tempo, con l'anima protesa
Lontano lontano
Sulla strada bianca, ho spiato il tuo arrivo?
Ora è già notte, e invano l'occhio mio
Tenta scrutare nella tenebra fonda.
