by Franz Alfred Muth (1839 - 1890)

Im Märzen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Lustig tröpfelt vom Dach der Schnee,
Der so lang gelegen;
Lustig vertröpfelt das Winterweh,
Aus den Wehen wird Segen.

Öffnet die Fenster:  herein, herein!
Milde, sonnige Lüfte!
Öffnet die Thüren, im Thale drein
Athmen schon Veilchendüfte.

So vertröpfeln auch Leid und Streit,
Eh' wir selber es meinen,
Und ein Frühling voll Herrlichkeit
Wird dem Frommen erscheinen!

Öffnet die Herzen:  herein, herein!
Gottes Lüfte und Düfte!
Wird dann Frühlingsostern sein,
Sprossen Leben die Grüfte.
