Osterglocken
Language: German (Deutsch)
Horch! Die Osterglocken klingen,
läuten ein die Sabbatruh',
und des Erzes tönend Schwingen
trägt uns frohe Botschaft zu:
„Auferstanden! Auferstanden!”

Jedes Herz muss auferstehen,
kleidet neu sich die Natur,
und der Lüfte lindes Wehen
leitet uns auf Lenzes Spur.
„Auferstanden! Auferstanden!”

Wer noch jüngst in Gram versunken,
grollend mit der ganzen Welt,
dem entfachst du Hoffnungsfunken,
leuchtend Bild am Himmelszelt:
„Auferstanden! Auferstanden!”

Glockenton, dich hört' ich klingen,
und die Hoffnung trog mich nicht.
Osterglocken, Dank soll singen
dieses Lied euch, warm und schlicht.
