Van 't jaor

Er stoeng op 'et dak van 'et huuske
Een nest van d' ooievaor;
Twee kwiemen er jaorliks op zitten -
Nou bleef er maor één op van 't jaor.
 
Er bluuiden veur 't huuske twee lindes,
Die stoengen zoo mooi bij elkaor:
Hoe spietig! één wier deur den bliksem
Totaol vernield van 't jaor.
 
Er woonden ien 't huuske twee oudjes:
‘We blieven nie lang meer 'en paor!’
Zoo dachten ze toen bij zich zelvers. -
Eén goeng naor 't graf van 't jaor.
