Vårnatt i Fridas faders trädgård
Language: Swedish (Svenska)
Tycker att vi borde andar vara
denna afton ibland blommors snö!
Ovan häcken står vår granna, klara
aftonstjärna som en fyr på sjö.

Dunklet är nog tätt, men blomstren skina
trotsande det tunga skymningsdok.
Nyss en apel dödstyst ner sitt fina
överflöd av vita blommor vrok.

Ej är Frida högljudd med sin stämma,
men hon helst vill viska denna stund
liksom rädes hon att skönhet skrämma
som en fågel från vår trädgårdsrund.

Eljest saklig själv, jag kan ej svara,
ej min tankes alster ivrigt strö.
Tycker att vi borde andar vara
denna afton ibland blommors snö.
