,Töchterlîn genc ûz dem boumgarten 
unde volge dîner muoter lêre, 
dû solt niht tumber liute rede warten, 
tuostû daz, des hâstû prîs und êre.` 
,,müeterlîn, 
lâ daz sîn, 
ich wil iemer leben nâch dem willen mîn,`` 
,tohter, dâ tender lender lenderlîn.

Töhterlîn, gedenke an Friderûnen, 
wie diu wart mit einem man ze schalle, 
dô wollte sî ze vil mit im gerûnen, 
dô machte er ir daz har ze einem balle,

daz er ir den spiegel von der sîten brach,
