by Anna Hildach (1852 - 1935)

Nun bist du worden mein eigen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Nun bist du worden mein eigen,
ich halte dich treu umfasst;
in meinem Herzen, da schweigen
die Stürme, und Englein steigen
hernieder und halten Rast.

Nun sind in Treu' wir vereinet,
verstumme nun, Welt um uns her!
In deinen Augen, da scheinet
mir Himmel und Erde vereinet
wie Sonnenstrahlen im Meer!

Gehörst fürs ganze Leben
nun mir, und ich dir allein,
bis unsre Seelen heben
die Fittige einst und schweben
in den lichten Himmel hinein!
