Zie nu, wie uit de zee, 't kristal der golven, Lieflijk lachend je wenkt! Herkent je hart haar? Vlugger vliegen de paarden, Thetys, de godd'lijke, wenkt. Snel de wagen nu af en in haar armen Springt de voerman; de toom, die grijpt Cupido, Stil dan houden de paarden, Drinken het koelende vocht.
