Noch einmal tön', o Harfe

Language: German (Deutsch)

Noch einmal tön', o Harfe,
Die nur Gefühle tönt!
Verhalle zart und leise
Noch jene Schwanenweise,
Die auf der Fluth des Lebens
Uns mit der Noth versöhnt!

Im Morgenschein des Lebens
Erklangst du rein und hell!
Wer kann den Klang verwahren?
Durch Forschen und Erfahren
Verhallet' und versiegte
Des Liedes reiner Quell.

In spätern Jugendjahren
Hallt es schon zart und bang,
Wie Finkenschlag im Merze;
Mit des Entknospens Schmerze
Erbeben Herz und Saiten
Voll Liebe und Gesang!

Am Sommertag des Lebens
Verstummt das Saitenspiel!
Aus sehnsuchtsvoller Seele
Lockts noch, wie Philomele,
Schon seltner, aber rührend,
Nur Schwermuth und Gefühl.

O schlag' im [dunkeln]1 Busen
Der ernsten Abendzeit!
Will um das öde Leben
Des Schicksals Nacht sich weben,
Dann schlag' und wecke Sehnsucht
Nach der Unsterblichkeit!

Toca encara una altra vegada, oh arpa

Language: Catalan (Català) after the German (Deutsch)

Toca encara una altra vegada, oh arpa,
tu que tan sols fas sonar sentiments!
Ves apagant el teu so, tendre i dolç,
en un cant de cigne
que en el flux de la vida
ens reconciliï amb la fretura!

A la llum del matí de la vida
ressones pura i clara!
Qui pot servar aquest so?
A través de cerques i experiències
s’extingeix i s’asseca
la font pura del cant.

Als darrers anys de jovenesa
ja sones tendra i poruga,
com el cant del pinsà al març;
tremolen el cor i les cordes
plenes d’amor i de cants!

Als dies d’estiu de la vida
emmudeix el toc de les cordes!
De la nostra ànima plena d’anhels
ens sedueix encara, com Filomela,
ja més rarament però commovedora,
solament melangia i sentiment.

Oh, toca en els cors ombrívols
a l’hora severa del vespre!
Si la vida erma es vol entrellaçar
amb la nit del destí,
toca aleshores i desperta el nostre desig
d’immortalitat!
