Still sitz' ich an des Hügels Hang

Language: German (Deutsch)

Still sitz' ich an des Hügels Hang,
Der Himmel ist so klar,
Das Lüftchen spielt im grünen Thal,
Wo ich beym ersten Frühlingsstrahl
Einst, ach, so glücklich war;

Wo ich an ihrer Seite ging
So traulich und so nah,
Und tief im dunkeln Felsenquell
Den schönen Himmel blau und hell,
Und sie im Himmel sah.

Sieh, wie der bunte Frühling schon
Aus Knosp' und Blüthe blickt!
Nicht alle Blüthen sind mir gleich,
Am liebsten [pflückt']1 ich von dem Zweig,
Von welchem sie gepflückt.

Denn Alles ist wie damals noch,
Die Blumen, das Gefild;
Die Sonne scheint nicht minder hell,
Nicht minder freundlich schwimmt im Quell
Das blaue Himmelsbild.

Es wandeln nur sich Will' und Wahn,
Es wechseln Lust und Streit;
Vorüber flieht der Liebe Glück,
Und nur die Liebe bleibt zurück,
Die Lieb' und ach, das Leid!

O wär' ich doch [das]2 Vöglein nur
Dort an dem Wiesenhang,
Dann blieb' ich auf den Zweigen hier
Und säng' ein süßes Lied von ihr
Den ganzen Sommer lang.

Sec tranquil•lament al pendís del tossal

Language: Catalan (Català) after the German (Deutsch)

Sec tranquil•lament al pendís del tossal,
el cel és tan clar,
l’oreig juga a la verda vall,
allà on als primers esclats de primavera,
antany, ai, vaig ser tan feliç;

on caminava al seu costat
tan confident i tan proper,
i, al fons de la fosca font del rocam,
veia reflectir el cel blau i clar
i a ella entremig.

Mira com la primavera virolada
ens esguarda des de les poncelles i les flors!
Per a mi no totes les flors són iguals,
prefereixo les de la branca
on ella les collia.

Car tot és com era abans,
les flors, els camps;
el sol no brilla pas menys clar,
i no menys gentilment es reflexa
a la font la imatge del cel blau.

Tan sols canvien voluntats i il•lusions,
varien els desigs i els combats;
lluny s’envola el goig de l’amor
i només resta l’amor,
l’amor i, ai las, també la pena!

Oh, si solament pogués ser un ocellet
allà, al pendís de la prada,
llavors restaria a aquella branca
i d’ella cantaria una dolça cançó
tot el temps de l’estiu.
