Segodnya dozhdesh`sya, segodnya dozhdesh`sya, shirokij moj Dnepr! Segodnya ot Boga Ukrajnu zhdyot prazdnik, I prazdnik tot strashny'j, i mnogo-mnogo prol`yot ona krovi, Kazak ozhivyot: I vstanut Getmany' v odezhdax parchevy'x I budet kak prezhde Ukrajna zhiva; I vdal` po stepi, nad kurganami brat`ev, Na strax vragam zablestit bulava; I snova kak spoet ne potajno, Privol`no i lixo spoet pro Ukrajnu: Svobodna do morya, net lyaxov s zhidami.
