Dient de Heer met blijdschap, komt voor zijn aanschijn met vrolijk gezang.
Weet dat de Heer God is;
Hij heeft ons gemaakt (en niet wij),
zijn volk en de schapen van zijn weide.
Gaat in tot zijne poorten met lof 
in zijn voorhoven met lofzang
Looft hem, prijst zijn naam. Want de Heer is goed,
Zijn goedentierendheid is tot in eeuwigheid
En zijn getrouwheid van geslacht tot geslacht.
