Bunt sind schon die Wälder

Language: German (Deutsch)

Bunt sind schon die Wälder;
Gelb die Stoppelfelder,
Und der Herbst beginnt.
Rothe Blätter fallen,
Graue Nebel wallen,
Kühler weht der Wind.

Wie die volle Traube,
Aus [dem]1 Rebenlaube,
Purpurfarbig strahlt;
Am Geländer reifen
Pfirsiche mit Streifen
Roth und weiß bemahlt.

Sieh! Wie hier die Dirne
Emsig Pflaum' und Birne
In ihr Körbchen legt;
Dort, mit leichten Schritten,
Jene, goldne Quitten
In den Landhof trägt!

Flinke Träger springen,
Und die Mädchen singen,
Alles jubelt froh!
Bunte Bänder schweben,
Zwischen hohen Reben,
Auf dem Hut von Stroh!

Geige tönt und Flöte
Bei der Abendröthe
Und im [Mondenglanz]2;
Junge Winzerinnen
Winken und beginnen
Deutschen Ringeltanz.

Chant d'automne

Language: French (Français) after the German (Deutsch)

Les bois sont déjà colorés,
Les chaumes sont jaunes,
Et l'automne commence.
Des feuilles rouges tombent,
Des brumes grises flottent,
Le vent souffle plus froid.

Comme les grappes pleines
Sur les feuilles de vigne
Brillent de leur couleur pourpre !
Sur l'espalier mûrissent
Des pêches avec leurs bandes
Peintes en rouge et blanc.

Regarde ! comme ici la jeune fille
S'active avec des prunes et des poires
Dans son petit panier ;
Là avec des pas légers
Ces coings dorés
Sont portés à la ferme.

Des porteurs lestes bondissent,
Et les jeunes filles chantent,
Tous poussent des cris de joie !
Des rubans colorés flottent
À travers les vignes hautes
Depuis les chapeaux de paille.

Le violon et la flûte résonnent
Au crépuscule
Dans le clair de lune ;
De jeunes vendangeurs
Font des signes et commencent
Une ronde allemande.
