Schöner Augen schöne Strahlen

Language: German (Deutsch)

Schöner Augen schöne Strahlen,
schöner rother Wangen Prahlen;
schöne rothe Lippen,
schöne Marmorklippen
liebt mein Gesicht.

Unter diesen Schönen allen
hat mir Eine nur gefallen;
aber ihretwegen
Fesseln anzulegen,
das thu' ich nicht.

Ich will stets in Freiheit bleiben,
meine Zeit in Lust vertreiben,
auch in jungen Jahren
mein Herz wohl bewahren
vor Liebespein.

Fahre hin, du falsche Seelen,
ich will mich nicht um dich quälen,
willst du mich nicht lieben,
sondern nur betrüben,
bleib wo du bist.

Jetzt hab' ich mir vorgenommen
nimmermehr zu dir zu kommen,
denn du bist von Flandern,
liebst Ein'n um den Andern,
drum hass' ich dich.

Wer kann denken, wie es schmerzet,
wenn ein Andrer mit ihr scherzet,
mit den Augen zielet,
mit den Lippen spielet,
mir zum Verdruß.

Beaux rayons de beaux yeux

Language: French (Français) after the German (Deutsch)

Beaux rayons de beaux yeux,
Hâblerie de belles joues rouges ;

Belles avancées de marbre
Plaisent à mes yeux.

Parmi toutes ces beautés,
Seule une m'a plu :
Mais par égard pour elle,
Lui mettre des chaînes
Ne le ferai.

Passe ton chemin, hypocrite,
Je ne vais pas me tourmenter pour toi,
Si tu ne veux m'aimer,
Mais juste me chagriner,
Reste où tu es.

Je me suis maintenant résolu
À ne plus jamais venir chez toi,
Car tu es des Flandres,
Tu les aimes l'un après l'autre,
Aussi je te hais.
