Nachtigallen schwingen

Language: German (Deutsch)

Nachtigallen schwingen
Lustig ihr Gefieder,
Nachtigallen singen
Ihre alten Lieder.
Und die Blumen alle,
Sie erwachen wieder
Bei dem Klang und Schalle
Aller dieser Lieder.

Und meine Sehnsucht wird zur Nachtigall
Und fliegt in die blühende Welt hinein,
Und fragt bei den Blumen überall,
Wo mag doch mein, mein Blümchen sein?

Und die Nachtigallen
Schwingen ihren Reigen
Unter Laubeshallen
Zwischen Blütenzweigen,
Von den Blumen allen
Aber ich muß schweigen.
Unter ihnen steh' ich
Traurig sinnend still:
Eine [Blume]1 seh' ich,
Die nicht blühen will.

Les rossignols agitent

Language: French (Français) after the German (Deutsch)

Les rossignols agitent
Joyeusement leurs ailes.
Les rossignols chantent
Leurs anciens chants.
Et toutes les fleurs
S'éveillent à nouveau
Au bruit et au fracas
De tous ces chants.

Et ma nostalgie devient un rossignol
Et vole dans le monde en fleurs,
Et demande aux fleurs partout
Où est donc ma petite fleur ?

Et les rossignols
Dansent leur ronde
Sous la voûte des feuilles
Entre les branches en fleurs ;
Parmi toutes les fleurs
Pourtant je dois garder le silence,
Parmi elles je reste
Avec mes pensées tristes en silence :
Une fleur que je vois,
Qui ne fleurit pas.
