J'adore vos decrets éternels et impénétrables ;
je m'y soumets de tout mon cœur pour l'amour de vous ;
je veux tout, j'accepte tout, je vous fais le sacrifice de tout,
et j'unis ce sacrifice à celui de Jésus-Christ, mon divin Sauveur ;
je vous demande, en son nom et par ses mérites,

Confirmed with Le Livre des jeunes Congréganistes de la Sainte Vièrge par le P. A. Maurel, S. J., Dijon, E. Pellion, 1865, page 402. This is a prose text; line breaks have been added to make it fit on the page. Note provided by Garrett Medlock: this text was ostensibly written by the sister of King Louis XVI, Madame Élisabeth de France (1764-1794) while imprisoned in the Temple Tower before her execution during the French Revolution's Reign of Terror.
