Du hast mir hell in's Herz geblickt

Language: German (Deutsch)
Du hast mir hell in's Herz geblickt,
Daß Frühling drin entsprungen;
Und dich hat manches Lied erquickt,
Das ich dir so gesungen.

Verlieren werd' ich nie die Lust,
Die du mir hast gegeben;
Und was sich regt' in deiner Brust,
O laß auch es da leben.

Du bleibst in deinem stillen Sein,
Und ich muß weiter fahren.
Laß dankbar eingedenk uns sein,
Was wir einander waren.
