Vergebliche Liebesmüh'
Language: German (Deutsch)
Denk' ich alleweil,
schön' Schätzlein wär' mein;
jetzt seh' ich's vor Augen:
Es kann ja nicht sein!

Wo ich stehe, wo ich gehe,
das Herzlein tut weh';
den Leuten ist's zuwider,
wenn ich mit ihr nur geh'.

Herzlich Schätzlein, bist du drinnen?
Gehe 'raus und mach' auf,
es friert mich mein Fingerle,
bin sonst nicht wohlauf!

„Frieret dich's an deine Fingerle,
zieh Handschühle an,
so kannst du schon klopfen,
klopf' nur einmal an!“

Was hilft mir mein Klopfen,
du machst mir nicht auf;
du tust mich vexieren
und lachst mich nur aus!
