Semble percer chaque matin
        La brume rose,

Des soucis jonchent le tillac
Du bateau bleu qui fend le lac

Les fils vermeils du jour levant

Si, déchaîné par votre orgueil,
L'orage contre un morne écueil
       Brise mon rêve,
Marin que l'onde jettera,
Mon cœur à vos pieds rougira
        L'or de la grève.

Enterrez-le parmi les fleurs,
Les fleurs que baise l'aube en pleurs
        Sous le ciel rose :
Pour que, bercé par les grands bois
